First Harvest

July 14, 2017 Druid Linda General

Lughnasadh will be here before we know it. It’s hard to believe that July is already half over.

It’s been an incredibly hot summer in Sedona this year. Temps have been more like Phoenix – between 100-110 almost every day for a few weeks. This week, we’re more in the 90’s, which is better, but I have to say, my tolerance for heat has greatly decreased after 18 years in Phoenix.

In any case, our Lughnasadh ritual is scheduled for 7 pm on Saturday night, July 29th. It should be absolutely lovely on the lawn of Unity of Sedona at that time… still light out, but the sun will be behind trees, so we will be very comfortable.

Looking forward to this first harvest celebration, and for all the rest that is to come. It has been a great year so far, and I believe the best is yet to come!
